The Reverend Know-It-All is a parody of Mr. Know-It-All, the alter ego of Bullwinkle J. Moose, a cartoon character created by Jay Ward (1920-1989)
How can I thank you? I'll try in the best way I know how.......Eternal rest grant unto Jay Ward, O Lord. And let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

The image on the right is that of St. Irenaeus (2nd century AD), bishop of Lyon and Father of the Church whose late second century Adversus Haereses (written about 180 AD) is a classic work of apologetics. His writings were formative in the development of Christian theology. The Reverend Know-It-All thinks he's another St. Irenaeus! But, some think he's more like the character Mister Know-It-All from the 1959-64 TV series Rocky and His Friends and The Bullwinkle Show, often referred to as Rocky & Bullwinkle.
